4 October 2010	Alison Burchell	Please find attached the nominations for the ITTF Athletes’ Commission. These are nominations received from associations for the Para Table Tennis representative to serve on the ITTF Athletes’ Commission. Elections will take place for one PTT representative during the ITTF PTT World Championships which will be held in Korea from 25 October 2010. The ITTF Athletes’ Commission will be formally established after elections and appointments which will take place in Rotterdam during the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships in May 2011. The list of nominations for the ITTF PTT Players’ Committee is also attached. Similarly, 4 players will be elected during the ITTF PTT World Championships. Please could you distribute these documents to your colleagues and team members who will be going to play in the ITTF PTT World Championships?
13 September 2010	Alison Burchell	These documents have been already sent to all national associations. Following the restructuring process undertaken under the leadership of Claude Bergeret, the Board of Directors recently approved the composition and terms of reference of the new Athletes’ Commission. The process of electing players to serve on this Commission starts at the ITTF Para Table Tennis World Championships for the PTT representative and will continue at the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships to be held in May 2011 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands to fill the balance of places so that the Commission will operate from June 2011 at the latest. Please find attached the following documents for your consideration and action: The composition and terms of reference for the ITTF Athletes’ Commission The cover letter explaining the nomination processes A nomination form for the PTT representative to serve on the ITTF Athletes’ Commission A nomination form for the PTT Division players’ committee As is usual, we would request you to consider nominating women for election as well as players who can represent the continents well. Please take note of the deadline of 20 September 2010 for your nominations which we look forward to receiving.
31 August 2010	Alison Burchell	The new racket control process comes into effect on 1 September 2010 and will be the system used for the ITTF PTT World Championships. All players are advised to read the new technical leaflet and directives for referees so that you are aware of the changes.
19 July 2010	Juraj Stefak	The ITTF PTT Division has developed the first draft of the Classification Code. This will be applied with immediate effect. However, as it is a newly developed document, players, coaches, classifiers and other interested parties are invited to submit comments to the Medical Officer with a copy to the Classification Secretary and the Secretary General if possible before 10 October 2010. Should you have any questions of clarity, please also address these to the above-mentioned persons who will respond as quickly and clearly as possible.
