15 January 2012	Gaël Marziou	A player asked for some statistics about age of top players, so here they are. I took the top 8 per class except for F1 that I combined with F2. The youngest top player amongst women is Karolina Pek (F9) from Poland and she's 13. The 2 youngest male top players are 16: Lian Hao (M10) from China and Ross Wilson (M8) from Great Britain. Other statistics about participation over last 12 years. Few remarks: Women's participation has slightly increased. 2011 has seen the highest number of players: 1137 for 24 tournaments. This number does not include class 11 players. The impact of 2 year selection cycle over participation is very clear, the year of the Paralympic Games the particpation decreases by 27% to 35%.
