Classification seminar in Sydney

During the Paralympics a seminar on classification will be held.

This will take place in the table tennis classification area and start 09.00 am.

The dates and subjects are:

• October 18 theory concerning medical, biomechanical and sport specific aspects.
• October 19 observation of ongoing competition especially the different levels of ability based on the impairments and potentials of the athlete that exists between the classes.
• October 20 observation of ongoing competition especially the differences that exists between players in the same class.

Prior to the seminar the classification of athletes will be organized on October 17.

Participants of the seminar are invited to attend and observe the classification.

The classification will be from 09.00 to 13.20 hours in the State Sport Centre and that the seminar will be held there as well.
