Athlete substitutions may only be made for athletes who have withdrawn due to injury, illness or other special circumstances. A "New Athlete" may only substitute for a "Withdrawn Athlete" in those class and event(s) in which the "Withdrawn Athlete" was previously entered.
The substitution can only be made in order of the alternate ranking and with the special agreement from the IPC !
